Being Created with a Purpose & Love

We learn in the beginning of the Bible that God created us with a purpose. As much as we think we know what is best for us at times, God has something better than our dreams could give us. There are no mistakes in the way God made us. Although we may go against his plan at times, there is no way for us to be too far gone for him to love, accept, and forgive us. He already loves us way more than we could ever imagine!

In Genesis 1:27 the Bible says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

Then in verse 31, the story continues by saying, “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”

In God’s eyes, I imagine that everything he had made was similar to the most valuable artwork of an artist. He did not say it was good until he was completely satisfied. This is the same way that God feels about us! When God formed us in the wombs of our mothers, he did not regret making us the way that he did. Every detail was designed and perfected by his hands. He knew that even when we made mistakes, he was going to love us unconditionally.

Not a day goes by that everything goes perfectly, the way that we wish it would. There will be days when we say or do hurtful things. Even on these days, we can have a relationship with the God who created us. This is good news, something that the Bible offers for us to enjoy the best possible life that God has for us.

Although I am not sure exactly what God may have for my future, it is worth waiting for.
